Our aim is:

• Equal and tolerant society without repression and suppression.
• To promote the understanding of feminism and more comprehensive use of the gender studies and viewpoint in society as a whole.
• To fight against injustice and inequality in society.

We provide all women and men, who have an interest and a passion for equality issues, different activities and means to influence within society.

Family policy lines of Finnish Social Democratic Women 2009 – 2010

Policies for employment and the family form a whole with egalitarian pay, just taxation, incentive and working social security, good public services, and working reconciliation of work and family life in its core.

Women and men have the right to be a parent to children and to work regardless of wealth. The present inequality between women and men in the society can be changed.

Family policy must be have a long term programme so that grown-ups can plan their future with calmness. Responsibility and caring reflect in everyday security.
